Hi, I’m Nikki Smith Strong and I have been an animal lover all my life. From a young age I knew I wanted to work with animals. All varieties have been a part of my life, from gerbils to guinea pigs to dogs, even a horse.

Throughout the years I have worked in fast food, retail, and have held various management positions for Corporate America. In 2008 I started my own work-from-home business, and since I was able to be home, I decided to foster and eventually adopt a locally surrendered puppy. Pregnant cats have shown up at my door in need of care as well, and I have sheltered, fed, provided veterinary care and adopted out many litters of kittens! One of them is still with me today (with those irresistible faces I had to take at least ONE of them)!

When my beloved black lab got to the ripe age of 14 and needed checked in on every 3-4 hours I was able to be there with him to keep him comfortable. He needed this attention for two more years, and had I not been a full-time work-from-home fur baby mom he wouldn’t have received the attention he needed.

Fast forward to today where I care for an epileptic dog who requires his food and medicine to be administered in the same time increments. I have a pit/boxer mix who has had both her knees reconstructed, and with that came lots of vet appointments, follow-ups and physical therapy. Also in our pack is a wild Hawaiian hound dog my husband and I brought home with us while we were on our honeymoon. She required a LOT of extra attention (getting used to loud noises, cars, housebreaking etc).

So you see, my animals really are my life. It really DOES revolve around them. I really understand the demands pets can (and do) put on your life. If you’re unable to be home like I am, why not let me help? I’m happy to do it, and it’s actually what I feel I was called to do.

Since I was a teenager I’ve been the “go-to” person for my family members and friends to entrust their animals to while they’re away from home. Let me or a member of my team be that person for your family of fur babies. From small to large, dog to lizard, we have you covered.
